Ingredients
Orange Dough | Green Dough | Filling |
100g Glutinous Rice Flour | 20g Glutinous Rice Flour | 20pc Chestnut |
200g Orange Sweet Potato | 5g Matcha Powder | |
100g Water | 30g Water |
Instructions
Orange Dough
1. Peel and slice the sweet potatoes and steam them until softened.
2. Mash the sweet potato, add in the glutinous rice flour and knead until smooth, add some water if needed.
3. Flatten the dough into a round shape, add the chestnuts as filling and seal it.
Green Dough
1. For the green dough, mix the glutinous rice flour, matcha powder and water, knead until smooth.
Assemble
1. Shape the green dough into leaves, and stick it on the orange dough
2. Boil some water, add the tang yuan and cook until they float then serve.
